Lykke Li
The First Unitarian Church
1/30 8:30 p.m., $17.50

People were remixing Swedish internet darling Lykke Li long before she ever stepped foot inside a US venue. Now that she’s here, people are eager to find a suitable label, often settling on quirky indie-electro-pop. But it’s her soulful lyrics and captivating voice that should bring you to this show. To top it off, she’s cute to the point of awe, and though she insists that in reality she’s “shy shy shy,” her stage presence suggests otherwise.

Antony and the Johnsons
Keswick Theatre
2/2 7:00 p.m., $25-$29.50

Like drag queens? Chamber pop? Having your mind blown? Mercury Prize-winning Antony and the Johnsons are hitting the road in support of their just released third album, The Crying Light. You’ll cry too when you hear transgender frontman Antony Hegarty’s voice. Don’t get it twisted, this (wo)man has pipes like a human Hammond. And while songs like “Hitler in My Heart” might not be kosher at Hillel, the Keswick Theatre is welcoming Antony and the Johnsons with open arms. So should you.
