engineering library

The Engineering Library keeps it real. This library is not spacious, but there is a lot of personal space and the entire facility is well lit. The "engineering culture" is clearly visible in equations and graphs scrawled on the library's whiteboards. While the books and journals on everything from aerospace to nanotechnology are great for research purposes, the reserve collection of the current science and engineering course books makes for easy reference. It also has the standard library equipment: laptops, print/copy facilities and group study areas.

The staff is friendly and more than eager to help with IT problems and research. Rumor has it one employee even walked a lost freshman to Van Pelt. Because of the Engineering Library's few devotees, there's rarely a wait for assistance. This library has a special effect on students. Procrastination seems to stop at its doors. Instead, students are so absorbed in their work that they leave reluctantly when 11 p.m. (closing time) rolls around.
