The Super Bowl has certain rules that must be observed. Acolytes submit to the orgy of chili, wings and beer. But that is no reason for you, the discerning epicure, to compromise. Here are two worthy brews to make the most of Super Bowl gastronomy:

Tusker Lager (Kenya): A crisp, invigorating beer that is still big on flavor. Its fresh citrus notes and subtle hops work a treat with spicy-sweet wings.

Yards Chateau Kenso (Pennsylvania) - Like the Super Bowl, this is a seasonal treat with an approachability that belies the 9% ABV. Luxurious notes of honey and star anise unfold into a spicy palate and a complex finish. Ideal with honey-glazed wings and smoky, flavorful chili.
