The Atmosphere:

I mean, I'm a huge fan of the large, round table. In fact, there truly is nothing better than a round table. for a large gathering. I'm going to say that this five-seater was a bit large for the two of us. But who doesn't like a little leg room?

The Food:

The food was delicious. I personally do not eat anything from the sea, so although the restaurant specializes in sea-fairing critters, the Italian wedding soup and pasta primavera were wonderful.

The Service:

Spectacular. We even got a personal tour from the owner, Giuseppe, after our meal.

Final Thoughts:

They have an entire room dedicated to Pavarotti. This one-of-a-kind room is tastefully filled with pictures, drawings and other paraphernalia in honor of the Italian tenor. In case you were wondering, I asked, and you can rent out the Pavarotti room for your next private event.

How Was The Date:

I can't underscore how much Mr. Morse was talked up as the world's most outrageous person, but I thought it was cute that he actually seemed a bit shy. Then again, who can live up to the infamous words uttered by a friend who told me he was a "rock star in the sack." I didn't get to taste the goods myself but the witty banter was a nice preview/alternative.

Highlights:

Learning the ins and outs of the Philadelphia sheriff campaign for which my date intends to run.

Lowlights:

Apparently, buca is not Italian hibachi - as I was promised.

Will You Be Seeing Each Other On Valentine's Day?

It's February?
