LT's, a campus staple since 1966, has reopened after its much-lamented summer hiatus. They have a wide selection of beers, and the generous and potent well drinks are certainly worth your two bucks. It's under completely new management, so take a glance at their revamped menu, and look for additions in the coming months, such as late-night DJ's and an updated version of their famous Sunday brunch.

Time: Standard Happy Hour 5 p.m.-7 p.m., Mon-Fri; varying nightly drink specials, 10p.m. -12 a.m.

Drink: $2 off house wine; $2 well drinks; $1 off draft beer

Food: LT's bar menu -- spruced up bar food such as burgers on brioche, glazed wings and beer battered chicken fingers, along with tempting entrees like gnocchi and steak frittes; $4-$16

Ambience: Warm wood and candles give the bar a homey feel, while the outdoor patio is a prime locale for a warm-weather cocktail

Clientele: Generally a grad student crowd; ideal for pairs and small groups looking for a laid-back, cozy place to chat and unwind with a drink after class.
