First, they were passed over for the national bird. Then the school mascot. Things were not looking up for hawks, at least not until last week when they attacked an unsuspecting squirrel on College Green, gaining fame and more fans than the fighting Quakers themselves. Smart choice, hawks, going for Penn enemy #1. It's your move, Quaker.

In people news, Mardi Gras continued last weekend at Smoke's, at least for one unidentified Penn girl. Just when the bar is clearing out is the perfect time to flash your friends from outside. Blame the 20 degree weather, but onlookers commented that the boobs themselves were nothing to write home about. Well, hey, this isn't New Orleans, and Smoke's will take what it can get, making this Smoke's best week ever. so far.
