My entire life I have struggled with my voter identity. I come from a long line of conservatives. My great-grandfather chaired the Cambria County GOP from November 1949 until August 1996; My grandfather, Robert A. Gleason Jr, Wharton ’61, held the same post from August 1996 until March of 2011, when he assumed the position of the Chairman of the GOP for Pennsylvania, on which he currently serves. My cousins, uncles and mother have all served as delegates for conventions throughout the years. My family has worked tirelessly for Pennsylvania’s GOP and for state to go red for the first time in 40 years gives me such pride in them.

At first glance, the sweat–slicked room where I take spin classes three times a week seems like a club. The music is loud and pulsing; the room is mostly dark except for glowing lights. But look more closely and there are rows of stationary bikes, along with an uplifting instructor whose main goal is to motivate you. This motivation differs from person to person, but it's completely different from the gentle affirmation you get from yoga instructors. Welcome to Flywheel.

Assembly Rooftop Lounge opened earlier this year, on top of the Logan Hotel on Benjamin Franklin Parkway, and although I can’t complain of the great view of the art museum, this rooftop lounge left much to be desired.

It’s been three years since Kate Taylor wrote her infamous piece on hookup culture at Penn. And by the way, she describes hooking up is a “functional
strategy for today’s hard–charging and ambitious young women, allowing them to have enjoyable sex lives while focusing most of their energy on academic
and professional goals.” I’m breaking all the rules, and going up against the odds. That’s right. I have... a boyfriend. And I have answers to MOST of your
complaints about monogamy.

When asked how my week long excursion to Cleveland was, I can honestly say that the RNC was one of the most fun weeks of my life.

I spent my freshman year consumed by FOMO–I went to all the downtowns, dirty rush events and date nights I could. It seemed normal, even expected, to go out four nights a week, especially since everyone around me was doing it. If I wasn’t stumbling home on a Tuesday or sleeping through an alarm on a Friday, I felt that I was somehow experiencing college incorrectly.

To start off, I’m sort of a food asshole—a friend and I started a group called Elite Eating Club so that should pretty much tell you what you need to know. I’m also gluten intolerant, so I’m the worst kind of asshole. However, this day was big for me because I was really excited to throw my cares to the wind and eat some arancini. I regret everything.

The first (and last) time I went to the gym was freshman year, when I was in love with a rower and he decided we were going to hit Fox Fitness center together. I went on the elliptical for about 20 (okay, 10) minutes while he did his thang on the ERG machine, and decided that was the end of my gym career, minus my Flywheel cult obsession. However, I was given the opportunity to try WeTrain, the Uber of personal training as I had been told.

Next week’s Dining Guide
had us inspired to check out
the techy kitchen gadgets on
the market right now. However,
upon further inspection,
we realized how ridiculously
expensive/nonsensical these
items are. Here is a roundup
of the most ridiculous ones;
we listed them next to some
typical Penn purchases/money–earners so you can
see just how many Wharton
Behavioral Labs you'll have
to do in order to have it in
your Beige Block kitchen.

What are the odds that you've seen a black silicone bracelet on the wrist of athleisure–wear clad sorority girl in class next to you? In the second quarter of 2015, FitBit earned $400 million in sales from its fitness trackers. Fitbit was created in 2007 when founders Eric Friedman and James Park realized that sensors and wireless technology had advanced to the point that they could create what now has become their Fitbit tracker.

When Street heard that Wharton junior Michael Shephard was developing a “computer techy thing,” naturally, Tech was sent to find out more. We sat down with Shepard and had him explain to us what the hell Lagom is and why we should be using it.

We all know the all too familiar sensation of scrolling through Instagram when you come across a selfie of that girl in your PoliSci class that you follow because her food instas are on point. Her skin is perfect, she has a perfect body and you've never seen someone's eyes look so large. However, it’s not just makeup that makes her selfies so perfect. With apps like Perfect 365, Facetune, and YouCam Perfect, the average srat star can edit to her heart’s desire—no photoshop experience necessary.
But are these apps realistic for everyday use?

Street is looking to spice up our love lives. The Tech sex–tion brainstormed, and we were curious—what’s up with those high tech sex toys? Could one toy connected to your phone go where no other toy has gone before?

Last week’s winter storm Jonas had us the opposite of hot and bothered. The 20+ inches of snow
we got made leaving the house a whole lot of nope. From the flywheel–obsessed to the stoner boy
