Ego of the Week

Ego of the Week: Alex Wiggins

Identifying as a “black woman, lifelong learner, and people pleaser,” Alex keeps busy but has her flyering technique down to a T. She’s the Chair of the Dance Arts Council, sashays in Onda Latina, produces Penn Monologues, coordinates PennArts pre-orientation program, and networks in Black Wharton (say that five times fast!).

Egos of the Week: Men of BMOC

The boys of AXO’s annual philanthropy event, Big Man On Campus, are back. This year, they’ve been training hard (or hardly training?) See them shake that thang on stage November 12th at the Roxxy.

Ego of the Week: Olivia Route

Olivia is a girl of many interests: she’s director of Bloomers, a head coordinator for Penn Quest, and studies IR and Russian (with a minor in African Studies). Hailing from Alaska, she probably can’t see Russia from her house, but at least she can speak

Ego(s) of the Week: Eric and Wyatt Shapiro

They may look alike, but Eric and Wyatt are one of a kind. Back from an Engineers Without Borders excursion, Wyatt–the–trombonist leads the Mask and Wig band. Eric drums in African Rhythms and facilitates the Fellowship for Building Intercultural Communities. Rumor is they might be the first pair of Sphinx twins.

Ego of the Week: Kay Lu

All hail Madame President (of Mortar Board), a comm and cinema studies major from Hong Kong. When she’s not publicizing the Vagina Monologues, she’s dreaming of Hollywood.

by 34TH STREET MAGAZINE

Ego of the Week: Jordan Holmes

Sig Nu brother Jordan is all about Penn pride. Whether working it as the mascot or cheering with Red and Blue Crew, he never misses a game. Off the field/court, he’s chief of Carriage (the LGBT senior society), a Pennacle leader, and an architect-in-training. And BTW—he’s technically a varsity cheerleader.

Ego of the Week: Sarah Lindstedt

This Tri–Delta Mortar Boarder is beyond musically gifted: when she’s not singing with Penny Loafers or strumming chords on her guitar, she gets rhythmic in the Penn Samba drum ensemble. Fun fact—she’s gone a month without showering.

Ego of the Week: Alon Krifcher

This Friar may be a Penngineer, but at Hogwarts, he’d be a Gryffindor. A self–proclaimed tech nerd, you’ll find him studying, eating or running the show at Hillel.

by 34TH STREET MAGAZINE

Ego of the Week: Audrey Keller

This dancing queen splits her time between the Engineering Quad and Platt Performing Arts Center—and coincidentally, is also pretty good at doing the splits. When she’s taking a break from mechanical engineering, you’ll find her rehearsing with Osiris.

Ego of the Week: Gabe Jimenez

Gabe Jimenez wears many hats: director (SPEC Connaissance, Without a Net), IR buff (PennSID, IRUSA), mentor (Pennacle, Lime Connect Network) and RA—but always makes time for TV binges. Just don’t let him catch you drinking in your room.

Ego of the Week: Nina Wolpow

Meet the former editor–in–chief of Street. She’s a Friar, she’s a Tri–Delt and she’s a total babe. When she’s not working on her thesis, she’s probably McBiting at McDonald’s. We salute you, HBIC.

Ego of the Week: Ernest Owens

You know his name, you’ve seen his face, you’ve probably definitely heard his opinions. This week, we gave Ernest a chance to reveal the man behind the ego

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Muhga Eltigani

This cultural maven dabbles in art, religion and theater—and still has time to be a triple major. She stage managed, acted and directed for the African American Art Alliance, is the former prez of the Muslim Student Association and promotes interfaith dialogue with PRISM. Damn, girl.

Egos of the Week: Will Smith, Nicole Webster, Nikita Anand and Kate Goldenberg

These seniors want YOU to invest in Penn’s future. The Co–Chairs of Seniors for the Penn Fund ask for donations and channel them into every corner of our school. They’re shooting for 1,740 donations—they’re more interested in senior involvement than the bottom line.

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Frank Colleluori

Hailing from Long Island, this double–major has tackled everything from leading Pennacle to climbing the ranks of the NEC. He’s also a member of Sphinx, chief of Carriage Senior Society and co–pres of College Cognoscenti—oh my! He spends any leftover free time eating Oreos.

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Seth Simons

This Boston native inspires all sorts of feels as a playwright, Simply Chaos comedian and Excelano Project spoken–word poet. Seth excels in reading and writing, but he prefers birdwatching over arithmetic (we don’t blame him).

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Emily Rubin

This Nightingale Nurse may be a tinder tease, but she’s DFA, down for anything. You can find her under the button—get your mind outta the gutter! She’ll be filming “The Button Show with Emily Rubin”

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Spencer Penn

Spencer the Politician has been class president for four straight years. His legacy? A new and improved *Fab Club.* And he’s not leaving Penn just yet; find Spencer sub–matriculating from Wharton to SEAS for his Masters in Robotics and Engineering.

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Rayne Harris and Tamara Shakarchi

Rayne, VagMons director, and Tamara, producer, are more than just two friends who love vagina-shaped lollipops. These two are reclaiming V-Day.

by 34TH STREET

Ego of the Week: Emilie Abrams

Emilie “spelled in a weird way because my family is from France” Abrams is the go–to girl for Urban Nutrition Initiative (UNI), studying PoliSci and East Asian Studies. She’s been around the world and back a few too many times—she just can’t keep her accents straight.
