Motivated by nostalgia to continue the ten plus years of bonding with the gang at Central Perk, I tuned in to Joey (Thursdays at 9 p.m.) with the hope that Tribbiani wasn't dead. To my dismay, I entered a land where Melrose meets the mob. The set for Joey's LA bachelor pad looked fake and brought back repressed Aaron Spelling memories, but I felt like I was in fictional character afterlife. Drea de Mateo, also known as Christopher's offed fiance Adriana on the Sopranos, now resides in Lala-land, playing a single mother/hairdresser. Despite her attempts at being the trashy sister of America's beloved goofball, I kept waiting for Tony. He never came, and neither did any bouts of laughter. Matt LeBlanc loses his charm without, well, his "friends," and it'll be no surprise if he loses his job, in addition to a little dignity.
