We get down under with College senior and activist Alexis Ruby Howe.

Street: What are you involved in on campus?

Alexis Ruby Howe: I am the Big Lesbian on Campus, in case you didn't know.

Street: What's the best place on campus to be Alexis Ruby Howe?

ARH: Locust walk. There you can stare at hotties walking in their short skirts and pretend it is because they have a cute bag or something - love it! And it is where you can spot the gay from a mile away!

Street: What is your stance on Vegemite?

ARH: Love it! Part of the daily dose of vitamins and minerals to keep healthy bones and brains strong.

Street: What is the breakfast of champions?

ARH: Weetbix. I eat them with Vegemite and margarine.

Street: We hear you can do the Elaine dance. How did you discover this?

ARH: I think I was mocking one of my friends at a dance party my freshman year to keep the straight boys away, and accidentally whipped out the thumb and awkward head/leg tilt and had flashbacks to Elaine. It has been a staple at many-a party since.

Street: Is there a music video that you have ever tried to imitate?

ARH: "Call on Me" by Eric Prydz for the recent drag show. I might never feel comfortable in spandex again, but it looked so good!

Street: What do you see when you look in the mirror?

ARH: A lean, mean, killing machine. Or something . more like a dyke with good taste in fashion, or the antithesis of a male metrosexual?
