Boo: Livestrong Wristband

We here at Street are all about cancer but not at the price of conformity. Raising money for cancer research is all well and good. But isn't it sad that we have to make plastic cop-light yellow bands a trend that not only screams "I care," but "I'm fabulous!!" as well? Yes, ya boy Armstrong fought against all odds, did the impossible, broke the barrier, realized his actuality, (insert other tepid inspirational slogans here) and roared back from cancer to win the Tour six times. But trust us, those flimsy canary ornaments are as much a ploy to make him an A-list celeb as they are to fight leukemia. If you're going to support shameless self-promotion, do it with a knock-off wristband from Lil' Flip's new release. His wristband supports nothing except his fund for a new platinum-iced grill.

Hurrah: Pink for men

Let's be real, ladies. It's a little known fact, but Pepto Bismol always puts us in the mood. Any man that can wear a blush shade with confidence and conviction is likely to get eggs in the morning. And we're not talking burgundy, crimson, vermillion or even a chartreuse that flirts with magenta. I mean hardcore, Barbie-brand, cotton candy, pussy-pink in all its grandeur. And it has to be in obnoxiously conspicuous doses as well. Pink socks will not suffice. You need to roll up to us swaddled in a pink button-up like you spell your middle name, P-I-M-P. Don't believe the hype -- real men wear pink.
