Love is in the air. Or maybe it's not. And we want you to tell us why.

In honor of our Valentine’s Day issue, Street is sponsoring an love–themed personal essay contest. Think The New York Times' Modern Love section, but raw–er, funnier, and realer.

We’re seeking submission from you: tell us about your longing, your desire, your significant other, your unrequited crush, your best friend, your parents, your hook–ups, or any lack thereof. Tell us about the realities and missteps of love, sex, and dating on Penn's campus. We want love in all shapes and forms—the good, the bad, the painful, the wonderful—lay it on us.

Submissions are due by Tuesday, February 6th at 11:59 p.m.

We'll publish our favorites in print and online, and three winners will be chosen to do a live reading at the Street office on February 13th. One lucky winner will receive a special prize.

Go forth and submit, lovebirds.
