Every building on campus has a different vibe. Whether it be the high–pressure nature of VP or the tangible feel of athleticism in the Palestra, people on campus have come to recognize the character of each building. So, keeping that in mind, enjoy five of my favorite UPenn buildings' Spotify playlists.

Kelly Writer's House

Kelly is that kid that spent way too much time with her grandma. Her Sunday afternoons were spent playing poker with pennies in g–mom's kitchen while Sinatra played in the background. In summary, she is an old soul that longs for the glory days that she never had the chance to experience.

Huntsman Hall

This playlist is twice as long as all the others. That's because Huntsman, of course, gets the most funding and is filled with overachievers. Huntsman loves rap music. That's why every other song is a G–Eazy track. He is also a huge Hoodie Allen fan. Did you know he went to Penn? Huntsman does, and for some reason is really proud of that fact, even though Hoodie Allen objectively sucks

The last song is the only song Hunstman studies to.

Claudia Cohen Hall

Claudia is a whimsical gal, and she wants her music to reflect that. The songs on her playlist are airy and artful. She also has a great appreciation for foreign cultures, and by foreign cultures she means French culture. Italian will also do, especially since Call Me by Your Name came out. Every morning, Claudia gets out of bed, puts on her playlist, and makes a frittata and a fresh squeezed glass of orange juice as she spins in her sun dress.

Perry World House

Perry is objectively a drug dealer. He spends his Friday nights at basement parties full of sweaty, shirtless guys moshing to Chris Travis. No one would ever know by looking at him, since he hides it well while on campus, but Perry is a skin head.

David Rittenhouse Laboratory

David hasn't updated his music taste since middle school—he never felt the need. His biggest accomplishment is his appearance on Kidz Bop 11. When fling rolled around, he was super excited about the lineup and about the opportunity to show The All–American Rejects his dirty little secret tattoo.
