Let's face it: when we hear Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson are starring in a movie entitled Wedding Crashers, we expect big things from one of our generation's most beloved duos. Fortunately, this wasn't some botched, could-have-been-funny-but-wasn't debacle in which Wilson's crooked nose and a couple of gunshots from outside are the (only) highlights of an evening at The Bridge.

As the title suggests, Wilson and Vaughn are two single guys who find pleasure in attending weddings of people they don't know, and likely never will know. They play on the hormonal rages of single wedding guests who are vulnerable to their advances. Ultimately, the successful "crasher" sacks one of the female wedding guests by the end of the evening.

The test for the charmers comes when they decide to crash the wedding of the Secretary of the Treasury's daughter. In his role as Secretary of the Treasury, Christopher Walken turns in an another unforgettable, peculiarly hysterical performance; he is the quintessential uptight, wealthy father.

But there's little doubt that Vince Vaughn steals the show. Each of his lines are delivered in his characteristic serious-yet-ridiculous, salesman-like pitch.

The film would not be complete without a surprise cameo from one of today's most popular comedic actors. We won't reveal any identities, but when it's this person's hour, his unique aura undeniably fills the room.

Crashers ranges somewhere between Dodgeball and Old School in terms of quality, but, thankfully, closer to Old School. With little competition around, this is sure to be this summer's most popular, slightly raunchy comedy.

Granted, the film is too long for a typical comedy, and the plot may even grow a little too wishy-washy that it borders on romantic comedy. Women, bring your handkerchiefs; guys, don't get any crazy ideas from this film. Everyone, laugh your ass off.
