Destination: Manayunk

The deal: Only a 15-minute drive West of Center City, Manayunk is Philly's favorite quaint getaway.

Located along the banks of the Schuylkill River and the Manayunk Canal, this intimate town is an

ideal daytrip or dinner spot. Check out the 70+ boutiques and galleries and pick from over 30

restaurants. Parking is plentiful and affordable, so don't hesitate to drive -- though Manayunk is

conveniently accessible by Septa or, for the energetic, bicycle.

be "buzzing with activity." Check out the bevy of galleries, pick up some local crafts and learn about

the real Quakers.
