It's time to put on your suit of chainmail armor and fight with the likes of Joan of Arc - even if just for an hour or two. If you have never ventured past the first floor of Van Pelt (or have never been there at all) try wandering up to the fourth floor. Towards the back, you will find the humble Medieval Studies Resource Room. Don't be intimidated by the many leather-bound books: they only add to the Ivy League experience that we are paying tens of thousands of dollars for. The room, with only one table and a handful of chairs, is the perfect private place to study on a cold winter day. Bring your cappuccino, put on your favorite beret and pretend to be intellectual as you sit among some insanely old documents. Even if you're not there to read the Corpus Scriptorum Ecclesiasticcorum Latinorum, you can at least stay warm while looking the part.
