If you liked Billy Crystal in When Harry Met Sally, be sure to catch his new show, 700 Sundays, playing at the Merriam Theater (250 S. Broad St.) from Sept. 30 to Oct. 11. The show, starring and written by Crystal, explores his family history, from his jazz executive uncle to his father who died when Crystal was 15. Though the play sometimes touches on serious topics, Crystal’s signature sense of humor shines through. In one scene, he stages a live reenactment of a silent home movie set at a family barbeque. The show, which has previously appeared on Broadway, is sure to hit your funny bone.

For the Comedy Central junkies out there, Michael and Michael Have Issues Live is one you shouldn’t miss. Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter host a fictitious sketch show in which they play various versions of “themselves.” This show-within-a-show features hilarious behind-the-scenes moments. Michael and Michael Have Issues Live is playing at the Trocadero Theatre (1003 Arch St.) on Oct. 29 at 7 p.m.

Every one of us is secretly a huge Full House fan. What better way to pay homage to the best childhood show of all time than to catch Bob Saget (formerly known as Danny Tanner) perform his comedy live? The Philly native and former America’s Funniest Home Videos host will be performing his dirty brand of stand-up live at the Keswick Theatre (291 N. Keswick Ave.) on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m.

Whether you catch one or all, here’s to a hilarious semester!
