DIY: T–Shirt Pillows

A new year and a new semester means a time for change, and Street thinks your dorm decor is so last semester. We give you step by step directions to making new decorations out of old clothing

Materials: Old t–shirt with an interesting color or design Pillow stuffing Needle and thread or sewing machine

1. Cut two matching shapes out of the t–shirt that exhibit the swatches you want on the pillow. 2. Place the 2 pieces of fabric on top of one another with the designs facing inward. 3. Stitch the edges of the fabric together and secure the thread; remember to leave a side or a segment open for stuffing. 4. Turn the fabric inside out, exposing the outside design. 5. Stuff pillow to liking. 6. Stitch hole and display pillow!
