Super Bowl Sunday is a classic American tradition. Since 1967, we’ve spent a winter Sunday glued to our television screens for the big game. Whether you’re a fan of the sport itself, you adore the annual halftime shows, or you’re fascinated by the commercials, there’s nothing like watching the Super Bowl in a setting with great energy.

In honor of Super Bowl LIV, taking place on Sunday, Feb. 2, lots of Philly venues are hosting watch parties. If you want to do something fun for the big game but don’t know where to start, check out these recommendations:

Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar

Tabu Lounge and Sports Bar is a staple in the central Philly neighborhood known as the Gayborhood. Head over to the LGBT-friendly sports bar on Super Bowl Sunday for drinks like Miami–themed cocktails and beer. Basic tickets cost $25 and include one drink ticket, one Super Bowl square, chips and dip, unlimited tater tots during the game, and a halftime taco bar. You can purchase tickets here.

Devil’s Den

Devil’s Den does the big game a little differently. They kick off Super Bowl Sunday with a viewing party of the Puppy Bowl, a television program which satirizes the Super Bowl, substituting puppies—yes, puppiesfor players. This watch party will benefit Morris Animal Refuge, with 20% of profits made from food being donated to the shelter. Stay after the Puppy Bowl to watch the real game—you might even get to sit next to a puppy.

Xfinity! Live, located in the Wells Fargo Center, is known as a hub of entertainment and sports in Philly. This year, it will be hosting a Big Game Bash event in honor of the Super Bowl! The venue is the ideal location to watch the game if you want to be surrounded by people. With lots of other restaurants in the complex, you'll even be able to take a snack break. The venue boasts a huge screen perfect for broadcasting for a big game like this, and seating will be available on a first come, first served basis.

Chickie's and Pete’s

Where better to watch the Super Bowl than at ESPN’s #1 Sports Bar on the East Coast? Head to Chickie's and Pete’s South Philly location this Super Bowl Sunday, sit at one of the huge bars, and watch the game on one of the many large flat screens. Plus, you can snack on their famous Crabfries. They promise “great food, drink specials,” and “all the action.”

Nobody knows whether the 49ers or the Chiefs will win yet, but if you head to one of these venues, you'll be guaranteed to have a winning night.
