"SWEET AS JIM NEWELL" Cinnamon-Sugar Chips

Ingredients:

6 tablespoons sugar

1/2 tsp. cinnamon

6 flour tortillas (fajita-size)

1 tablespoon light corn syrup

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Brush one side of each tortilla with corn syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon mixture. Cut each tortilla into six wedges and place on baking sheet. Bake about 10 minutes, until golden and crisp. Serve with applesauce as a dip!

deb's well-designed Maple Squares

3/4 cup peanut butter

1/2 cup maple syrup

1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk powder

about 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts

Mix the peanut butter and maple syrup until well blended. Add the milk powder, stir well. Spread the mixture into a loaf pan. Pat it down to make an even layer. Sprinkle the peanuts over the mixture and press gently. Chill one hour. Cut into one-inch squares. Keep covered and chilled until you serve. Makes about 32 squares.

Yvonne and Claire's Delectable M&M Popcorn

Ingredients:

1 King-size bag of M&Ms

1 bag of microwavable popcorn

Microwave a bag of popcorn (preferably with butter, "Butter Lovers" even better). Allow popcorn to cool for one minute. Pour in king-size bag of plain M&Ms. Shake bag and enjoy!

S'More Trail "k-lo ed pix" Mix

Ingredients:

2 cups honey graham cereal

1 cup tiny marshmallows

1 cup peanuts

1/2 cup mini or regular chocolate chips

1/2 cup raisins

Mix together in a resealable large plastic bag. Shake well. Makes five one cup servings.

kali's Cheesy Tortilla Fun

Ingredients:

1 Tortilla (fajita sized)

Grated cheese

Sour cream

Salsa

Guacamole

Spray a skillet with Pam. Flatten a tortilla onto the hot pan. Sprinkle grated cheese (any type, to taste). Wait for cheese to melt, then fold tortilla in half. Garnish with sour cream, salsa or guacamole.

"A Whole yona-ta-tamole" Guacamole

Ingredients:

4 ripe avocados

1 tomato

1 white onion

1 lemon

1 lime

Salt

Cut each avocado in half, and remove seeds. Scoop out avocado flesh into a mixing bowl, and mash firmly. Dice tomato and onion, and sprinkle pieces into bowl. Squeeze half of a lemon, and half of a lime into bowl. Add salt to taste. Mix ingredients together. Enjoy guacamole dip with chips and tortillas.

Grant's waspy Oatmeal with Caramelized Bananas

Ingredients:

1 packet of oatmeal

1 large banana

1 cup of milk

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/4 stick of butter

Heat up skillet and melt generous portion of butter. Slice a banana lengthwise. Coat the banana with brown sugar (dark or lite). Sautee banana, adding brown sugar periodically. Turn off heat when banana appears brown and glossy. Prepare a bowl of oatmeal (stove or microwave) and add caramelized bananas.

Croque Monsieur Grabarsky

Ingredients:

2 slices of bread

2 slices of cheese

1 thin slice of ham

Butter two slices of bread (any type). Line bread with two slices of cheese and one slice of ham. Heat up skillet and melt butter. Fry sandwich until bread is lightly brown.
