THEATER: Sex, Lies and Salmon

Carter Cornell has been murdered, and its a good thing too because listening to his less than wiley machinations for any longer would have made for a very boring play.

This dinner theatre performance showing at Dave and Busters through the summer, is smart and entertaining.

The audience enters the banquet hall and is invited to board a cruise for millionaires. During cocktails Carter Cornell is thrown overboard. Everyone is a suspect since no one much liked the dribbling nerd and they all have a motive.

Throughout the play dinner is served. A caesar salad begins the meal and for an entree diners have the choice of grilled chicken breast with asiago mushroom basil sauce or stuffed salmon crown topped with shrimp and a chardonnay cream sauce.

Who Wants to Murder a Millionaire? can't boast the best in acting ability but in dinner theatre talent isn't neccesarily needed. The seven actors in this play were fun and knew exactly how to improvise their way through a scene.

Involving the audience is what the Murder mystery players do best. Female characters stroke the backs of male audience members sitting next them while the men pick food off of other peoples plates.

The humor is raunchy and the plot is loose but the experience is fun. At the plays conclusion tables have the opportunity to become the sleuth and try to determine who is the killer. The winner receives Dave and Busters gift certificates.

More fun for groups than singles or couples, the Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre puts together a good time for all involved.
