Dear Readers,

The editors of 34th Street would like to apologize for the grossly distasteful finger hula skirt cut-out that appeared in this space last week. Unbeknownst to Miss Yona Silverman, a change was made in design prior to printing that has embarrassed, saddened, insulted and mortified this publication. Furthermore, it undermined the values held dear by Street, the Penn campus, the West Philadelphia community and Israel. Step two of the directions clearly stated to "cut out the box along the solid lines," but, regrettably, the box in question had dotted lines. Again, we apologize for the disgusting error and have taken to shouting ethnic slurs at those who may/may not be responsible.
