Oct. 29 – 30 — Halloween Flashlight Tours at the Laurel Hill Cemetary, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m., $20

For some creepy adventure, head to the Laurel Hill cemetery this Friday and Saturday for the annual Halloween flashlight tours. Be on your toes as tourguides lead you through a sea of graves and try not to wake the undead, though you’re sure to run into at least a few restless spirits as you learn about the historic cemetery. Flashlights are BYO, so don’t forget to grab one before you head out. Apple cider and cookies will be served at the end of the tour.

Saturday, Oct. 30 — Moe's Halloween Massacre, 124 Market St., 21+

The regulars at Drinker’s might be taken aback — or pleasantly surprised — to find their favorite bar transformed into Moe’s Tavern as the regular staff dons The Simpsons–inspired costumes. Come this Saturday as the entire bar dresses for Halloween and enjoy drinks served by Moe, Homer and Duffman at eerily–low prices: $0.50 Bud Light Drafts and House Drinks from 8–10 p.m.

Friday Oct. 29, Haunted Museum Masquerade, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Free

In case you didn’t know, the PMA hosts jazz performances and swing dancers every Friday afternoon, free with museum admission. In honor of the Halloween holiday, the museum will be hosting a Jazz Era–themed masquerade, with live music provided by the Moonlights and swing performances by Gin Minsky and Dandy Wellington. Hit up Retrospect and get yourself some fly digs — those artsy folks are hard to compete with when it comes to costumes.
