The midterm elections are coming up, and voting is more important than ever. But if fulfilling your civic duty isn’t reason enough for you to vote, then how about free coffee? Saxby’s is encouraging voter turnout by offering one of two drink options to customers who stop by with a “I Voted” sticker on November 6th. Voters can choose between the seasonal maple bourbon latte and the fan–favorite “Groothie,” or green smoothie.

Saxby’s isn’t only pushing their customers to vote, but also their staff. The chain is compensating employees who leave their shift to vote, and even compensating employees not scheduled to work on Election Day if they will spend their time voting.

After Philadelphia’s historically low voter–turnout in the 2016 presidential election, the mission is more important than ever for the Philly chain. Saxby’s isn’t the first Philly spot to offer perks for voting, as more than a dozen offered perks during the presidential election.

For the midterms, less businesses are offering promotions, but companies such as Uber and Lyft have taken big steps to encourage turn–out. Both ride–share companies are working with voter outreach organizations to provide free ride promos to the polls in areas where transportation is more difficult.

So on November 6, get out there and let your voice be heard—and then celebrate with some coffee.
