These days, music genres are blurred. There’s electronic, indie, soul… and then there’s all those babies combined into one papa genre. Indie-Electro-Soul. What is it? Well, who knows. I made it up. All we know is that when we try and explain the genre of songs on this playlist, we end up forgetting our own names. But we feel it in our hearts that they should all exist under one genre. The one thing we can say about this playlist is that there’s a lot of estrogen here. Each one has a fine, smart, accomplished, respectable, hot-ass lady providing the lead vocals. Take a listen.
