Guilty Pleasure

I've admitted it before, and I'll admit it again: I love MTV's reality shows. Real World, Road Rules, Real World/Road Rules Challenge, Fraternity Life, Sorority Life, True Life, The Osbournes, Newlyweds. They're all masterpieces, Shakespearean in their comedy, tragedy and poetry.

Fatou-bulous!

Everything about Fatou & Fama -- West Philadelphia's new Senegalese restaurant -- seems odd. From the Editor

While I may lack the accent and beige hot pants of famed Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, this doesn't mean that I am any less of a scientist.

34th Street Magazine

Cool Hand Chris

Are you a clove-smoking, beret-wearing, finger-snapping beatnik? Do you refer to your friends as "cats?" Perhaps you think John Coltrane is "hip" and Charlie Parker is "bad"-- in the positive sense of the word.

Abbaye Road

Three weeks into school and already can't stomach another gulp of Natty Light? It might be time to check out the new Belgian pub, The Abbaye. Co-owner Meghan Wright says her love of imported brews inspired the pub, which opened in January.
