If you don't have plans set in stone for Passover, chances are you're open-minded and classify yourself as more of a "cultural" Jew, so London Grill's "Newish Jewish Feast" is where you should spend your second Seder. Located a $10 cab ride from campus near the art museum at 2301 Fairmount, the London Grill is worth the "it can't be reached by SEPTA" trip.

If you're looking for a Rittenhouse girl in a South Philly world, Bistro La Viola is your spot. With a dining room that makes a shoebox appear expansive, the experience at this cash-only BYO is reminiscent of eating at the communal tables at Manhattan's Carnegie Deli. Logistically, the tiny bistro is about as capable as an Italian military unit, as we waited nearly 25 minutes (with a reservation) to be seated. Service was uninspired at best, and it took nearly 15 minutes just to get a slice of bread -- although when it arrived, it was freshly baked and perfectly crunchy.

If you loved Night Watch two years ago, you're in for a treat with Night Watch 2. This Russian sci-fi/thriller/fantasy/action flick will surely knock your socks off... if you don't pass out from all the gory blood-stained battles first. Director Timur Bekmambetov, who has made a bunch of Commie movies that none of us have ever heard of, went crazy with Night Watch 2.

Karen Beckman arrived at Penn only one year ago and she is already making waves. She teaches a new class called "Women and Film," which shows "the range of work that women have done -- not just feminist filmmaking -- but work from early cinema done in the 1890s and early 1910s." The class syllabus explores a variety of women directors, from controversial Nazi propaganda filmmaker, Leni Riefenstahl, to avant-garde filmmakers like Maya Deren. However, Dr. Beckman sets her class apart from other film courses by conducting her weekly screenings every Tuesday evening at 7 at the generally defunct Cinemagic Theatre on Walnut Street.

Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead, Mary Poppins and Mrs. Doubtfire are just a few of the "nanny" movies that have thrilled us, made us laugh and made us cry. Nanny McPhee is no exception. With a gang of rowdy Brits running around to make chaos for the nannies that their stereotypical newly-widowed father hires to replace their beloved dead mother, only Emma Thompson, as the unsightly and austere Nanny McPhee, can save the day. One still prefers Home Alone, but fine acting by the children of this movie make it more than just a flick designed for rambunctious pre-schoolers. Angela Lansbury plays cranky Aunt Adelaide, but you would never know it was her under 500 pounds of makeup.

Before last week, the closest I'd ever come to Nantucket, the Cape and the Vineyard was with a quirky bottle of juice with a New England fact under the cap, a low-fat bag of potato chips and a box of Franzia. But then one of my dearest friends invited me to spend a long weekend at his summer palace in Nantucket. This was clearly an offer I couldn't turn down. I intended to use my own eyes to examine one of the stereotypically WASPy retreats that receive so much high-falutin hype anywhere from Anchorage to Zurich. The invitation was intimidating, but I had to see for myself.

Elegantly luxurious, yet quite affordable." It sounds like an old Hyundai commercial, but when dining at Philadelphia Fish & Co.'s bar, this maxim holds true.

Located just meters from the craziness that is South Street, Fez truly is an authentic Moroccan eatery. From the wall to wall, ceiling to floor tapestries, to the waiters' traditional Moroccan garb, stepping into Fez, it seems as if you have reached an oasis in the middle of the Sahara Desert -- not a hole in the wall blocks away from the Real World house.
